DESCRIPTION:
In rural and town communities, educators, families, and community partners are often navigating increased demands with limited resources. This restorative and interactive session invites participants to pause, reflect, and reconnect with their purpose in supporting student success. Drawing from over 25 years of experience and her work as a certified culture facilitator, Future Cain will guide attendees through practical, real-time strategies to elevate emotional intelligence, build resilience, and promote well-being across school and community systems.
Participants will engage in reflective and interactive exercises designed to strengthen relationships, communication, and collaboration between schools, families, and community partners. The session highlights how chronic stress is affecting every level of our educational ecosystems and offers tools to reset, recharge, and how to show up with greater clarity and compassion. Through powerful insights and proven practice, Future shares what’s working in districts and organizations across the nation—and how we can bring that same mental health and hope to our local contexts. Whether you’re an educator, parent/guardian, or community leader, this session provides space to breathe, reset, and leave with practical strategies to support a healthier, more connected you—and a more supportive school and community culture.
