Description

As referenda passage becomes increasingly mandatory in Wisconsin, it is necessary to rethink our approach to how communities are engaged. Referenda passage depends on strong community support and strong community support depends on strong, autonomous local referenda teams. This session provides tips - and toolkits - from referenda team leaders, superintendents, and experienced Wisconsin Public Education Network organizers on how to engage your community, find and support local leaders, then trust them to say “YES” and tell others to say “YES” too. Our proven model for building a community support group for local referenda efforts is FREE, EFFECTIVE, and BUILDS LONG-TERM COMMUNITY SUPPORT for thriving public schools. Learn more about how we can help your local team lead - and win!
