Description
Rural schools face unique challenges when it comes to supporting new teachers; funding a full-time instructional coach or mentor is often not possible. In this session, we’ll explore a flexible, part-time coaching model designed for small and rural districts. Learn how one educator built a customized schedule, created original handouts, and developed a mentoring approach to meet the needs of her rural school. Participants will walk away with adaptable tools, practical ideas, and a deeper understanding of how to build strong coaching relationships — even with limited time and resources. This session is ideal for instructional leaders, school administrators, and anyone passionate about supporting teachers in rural settings.
