Dorothea Harju taught in a rural school district and had a passion for all learners and new educators. In the spirit of Dorothea and the legacy she left in the field of education, this endowment will support the preparation and sustainable development of all educators in the state of Wisconsin.  

The vision of the Harju Center for Opportunities in Education is to empower current and future elementary and middle/level educators to recognize and address persistent challenges, close achievement gaps, and overcome barriers to providing equitable, inclusive, and responsive instruction to students. Our goal is to have positive impacts on Wisconsin schools and learners through supportive collaboration, innovation and professional development.

Cartwheel is a trusted mental health partner to schools. We help kids and families get back on their feet when they’re struggling and help schools build Multi-Tiered Systems of Support to catch more kids before they fall.

Addiction is a disease that destroys people, families, friendships, workplaces and all relationships. If the stigma around addiction was not as strong – if addiction was not viewed as a personality flaw or weakness, but as a disease – more people would seek early treatment for their addiction rather than hiding it from everyone they love and care about. The goals of the George Moore IV Recovery Foundation are to assist people with addiction issues and promote awareness of the opioid epidemic in Wisconsin.

Since 2016, Upper 90 has been an independent, locally-owned company based in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin, just Northeast of Madison. Upper 90 has evolved during this time, beginning with a strict focus on LED lighting solutions. We have expanded our offerings to include many different facility and infrastructure improvements. Our three core principles help shape successful projects for our customers.

We also offer flexible contracting options, where the costs associated with construction risk can be absorbed and mitigated by other parties—instead of entirely by one party (Upper 90). This flexibility reduces the overall project cost and is not typically offered by larger firms.
