Rhinelander Celebrates at their Ed Rising Ceremony

Rhinelander celebrated an incredible group of seniors during their Educators Rising Signing Ceremony!

Nine seniors made a commitment to the field of education and signed a promise of an interview opportunity with the School District of Rhinelander upon completion of their teaching degrees. Thank you to Ed Rising Advisors Meghan Rettalick and Chloe Shepard for all of your support and guidance of these future educators!

One of the most meaningful moments of the ceremony was each student recognizing a teacher who made a lasting impact on their educational journey and inspired their passion for helping others learn and grow.

The School District of Rhinelander is committed to helping every student discover their passions and pathway for success after high school. Through their Education Pathway, students have opportunities to participate in Educators Rising, gain classroom-based credit-earning experiences at all grade levels, take dual credit Introduction to Education courses through Nicolet College, and, beginning next year, participate in a new Youth Apprenticeship opportunity for senior students interested in education careers in partnership with Nicolet College and UW-Stevens Point School of Education

Eric Burke says “We are proud of these future educators and excited to see the positive impact they will make in the lives of future students!” #HodagPride#EducatorsRising#FutureEducators#SDRReady

I want to thank Eric Burke, School District of Rhinelander Superintendent, for sharing this information with WiRSA.
